Exemplify the highest personal and professional standards of integrity, truthfulness, honesty, and diligence in order to inspire confidence and trust.

Avoid using your official position for inappropriate personal gain.

Maintain the standards and improve the effectiveness of the profession through continuing professional development and encouragement of the professional development of others in the field.

Oppose violations of all state, federal, county, municipal and other laws and collective bargaining agreements.

Respect, maintain and safeguard confidential information shared with you or discovered in the course of your duty as a professional.

Support and promote the mission of the public employer unit.

Within the professional’s authority, assert the public employer’s position in contract negotiations, administration of labor agreements and contracts, and related issues of employment relations.
