Senior Benefits and Leave Analyst – Oakland University
Oakland University is hiring a full-time Senior Benefits and Leave Analyst in the Human Resources Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. A minimum of two (2) years of human resources experience with a focus on benefit analysis, process and leave management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working with deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Thorough understanding of local, state and federal laws involving leaves and benefits administration. Computer and database skills, including tables, forms and queries.
Position Purpose:
Provide assistance with the research, development and administration of benefit, leave and workers’ compensation programs for the University. Offer counsel to management and employees to ensure the correct interpretation of compliance with university policies and procedures pertaining to benefits, leaves and workers’ compensation. $65,374 – $73,553 annually.
